USRA B/S 12 Championship Series - See Rules Below
 

USRA B/S 12 Championship Series

Race Format and Rules:
• This will be a 12 race series, made up of three – four race mini-series.
• All USRA B/S 12 rules apply.
• With the exception of spray glue only.
• There will be no qualifying for the races instead the following will apply.
• For the first race there will be a draw to decide who gets lane choice.
• After the first race, the person in last place in points will be the first to choose; (new people will be first to draw as well).
• It will go in reverse order from last place to first.

Points:
• Points will be awarded for each race in five point increments.
• Winner will receive 100 points, second 95, third 90 and so on.
• Points for every race will be carried over to the end of the 12 races.
• Series points will be added up at the end of the fourth race, and start over at the beginning of the first race in the next series of races.

Trophies, and Box Plaques:
• Box Plaques will be awarded at the end of every race in the 12 race series.
• The Series trophies will be handed out at the end of each four-race series. 1st place to receive the 3 column 36” trophy, 2nd place to receive the 3 column 33” trophy, and 3rd place to receive the 3column 30” trophy. The trophies for the first series are on display now at Slot Cars of Katy.
• The larger Championship trophies will be handed out at the end of the 12th race.

Here are the dates that we have planned for the races for the first two series of racing. The third and final series and the beginning of the next Championship series races will be announced after the TSRA schedule, as well as others have been set up for 2011. These dates will be announced as soon as possible.

The first series is planned as follows:
1st race May 1st 2010
2nd race June 19th 2010
3rd race July 10th 2010
4th race Sept 11th 2010

The second series is planned as follows:
1st race Oct 30th 2010
2nd race Nov 20th 2010
3rd race Dec 18th 2010
4th race Jan 22nd 2011

Entry Fees: $17.50
Broken down as follows:
$10.00 goes to the track
$ 5.00 goes to series trophies and box plaques
$ 2.50 goes to the championship trophies
